Symptom
An error is thrown by the system when attempting to add a product to a discount list.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the 'Product' work center
- Proceed to the 'Discount List'
- Access the 'Overall Customer Discount' section
- Open the existing list or create a new one
- Switch to 'Edit' mode
- Attempt to add a product to the items
- Note: The system dumps
Cause
The inclusion of the Product ID field in the Item table within the overall customer discount list is not recommended as it has been added through customization/personalization.
Resolution
We kindly request the customer to refrain from this action. The primary function of the overall customer discount list is to manage discounts solely based on the account id. These discounts will be calculated and incorporated into the sales transactions, regardless of the products included.
