Symptom
Public Versions are deleted in a model and the records are not shown in Data Change log / Activity Logs in SAC

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2024.15.6
Connection: import
Datasource: BW
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC
- Open the model
- Switch to Data foundation view
- Filter on the public version 'ABC'
- Notice there is no data and the message 'We couldn't find any data that matches your filter and version. Try broadening your filter or switching versions to display data.'
The deletion of the version 'ABC' is not recorded in the data change logs
Resolution
The development team confirmed that there is no capability in SAC for data restore and backups.
