Symptom
- The following or similar error can be seen in B2B Integration Cockpit (EDI Content Manager) when trying to import B2B objects:
- import failed: set failed: [jcc][t4][102][10040][4.32.35] Batch failure. The batch was submitted, but at least one exception occurred on an individual member of the batch.
Use getNextException() to retrieve the exceptions for specific batched elements. ERRORCODE=-4229, SQLSTATE=null

- Also, when checking the XPI inspector or default traces the following database exception is seen:
- SQL error occurred on connection <DB>:<DB>:SAPSR3DB: code=-4,229, state="<null>", message="[jcc][t4][102][10040][4.32.35] Batch failure. The batch was submitted, but at least one exception occurred on an individual member of the batch.
Use getNextException() to retrieve the exceptions for specific batched elements. ERRORCODE=-4229, SQLSTATE=null
=> (-803,23505,Error for batch element #1: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-803, SQLSTATE=23505, SQLERRMC=1;SAPSR3DB.<TABLE>, DRIVER=4.32.35)";
SQL statement is "INSERT INTO "<B2B_TABLE>" ("CTRL_KEY","CTRL_NAME","DESCR") VALUES (?,?,?)".

- SQL error occurred on connection <DB>:<DB>:SAPSR3DB: code=-4,229, state="<null>", message="[jcc][t4][102][10040][4.32.35] Batch failure. The batch was submitted, but at least one exception occurred on an individual member of the batch.
- Importing without selecting the Overwrite duplicate keys option triggers the above exception.
- Importing with the Overwrite duplicate keys option completes successfully but results in existing objects being overwritten by new imports.
