Symptom
On Rehire On Old Employment (ROOE), the Employee Profile shows an Active status and a No Show transaction when onboarding is canceled after the rehire check.
The below images illustrate the Job Information History before and after the onboarding process cancellation and rehire check:
- Before ROOE:
- Accepted as Rehire: ROOE
- Post-ROOE rehire check - Job Information History: Rehire Active status:
- ONB Dashboard – Cancel Onboarding post rehire check:
- Employee Profile – Post Cancel No Show:

Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Initiate onboarding for a terminated user
- Process Onboarding - NHDR and PDC
- Accept the user as a Rehire on Old Employment in the Rehire Check
- Cancel onboarding in the onboarding dashboard
- Check the rehire's Employee Profile
- See that an Active status and a no show appeared in the Job Information history
Cause
This is the system working behavior when a rehire is accepted for ROOE and then canceled.
Resolution
The Product Management Team has confirmed that behavior is as per the system design, since the employee was initially made active, and then cancelled, the history does capture that information.
