3517501 - File field in Process Governance form performs browsing although initial file is uploaded

In Process governance workflow user task, the file field in form has an initial value (file).

During the case execution, clicking the file field does not open the file, instead it redirects to upload a file. i.e. File field always browses does not open the initially uploaded file.

However, opening the file form field url in a new tab downloads the initial file.

By default, the file upload field activates the file chooser. However, if you want to download the originally uploaded file directly, you can set the form field to read-only. This adjustment will allow you to download the file when you execute the case
