DocuSign envelopes are getting removed even if the Onboarding activity has never been deleted.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
Resolution
As designed, when an Onboarding step gets restarted and the DocuSign envelope is still on "Awaiting Signatures" status and not signed, the system will delete the envelope immediately. However, if the envelope has already been signed, it will be marked as a DiscardedEnvelope.
Additionally, a background job will that runs every day to identify these discarded envelopes and will send a request to DocuSign to purge them. Since restarting the activity may happen for any data corrections, any old envelope containing details from before the correction will be deemed unnecessary and discarded.
