3517886 - Hiring Manager is not able to assign a buddy to new onboardee - Onboarding

The hiring manager cannot select the buddy in the candidate buddy task, when tries to select an employee nothing happens.

The permission for buddy activity is granted to the manager only in a role that allow to see their own information. 

You can confirm:

1. Going to "View User Permission":
2. Search for the impacted Manager
3. Find the ONB2BuddyActivity permission
4. Check the role in there it's assigned
5. Go to Manage Permission Roles
6. Check the Assignments > If the target population is "The granted users themselves" > this is the cause

Grant the ONB2BuddyActivity permission as "edit" to the manager role that is assigned to the manager.
