3518414 - Multi-Availability Zone enablement in SAP Datasphere

As a SAP Datasphere's owner, you would like to enable multi-availability zone in SAP Datasphere runtime SAP HANA Cloud.
It creates a synchronous replica of the SAP Datasphere runtime SAP HANA Cloud in a second availability zone.

This will allow a High Availability setup for the SAP Datasphere runtime SAP HANA Cloud.

• The Multi Availability Zones feature creates a synchronous replica of the SAP Datasphere customer (runtime) SAP HANA Cloud in a different availability zone;
• Multi-AZ improves availability and disaster tolerance;
• The feature is included in the service subscription;
• There might be a performance impact due to a synchronous replication causing latency impact;
• The enablement process causes no downtime;
• Test tenants, partner tenants (a.k.a. TDD) and free tier tenants can not enable Multi-AZ.
• Multi-AZ is available only for tenants provisioned after version 2021.03 as explained in SAP Help Information for Customers using SAP Datasphere Provisioned Prior to Version 2021.03.
