3518796 - Synchronization of Exchange Rates between SAP CAR and SAP ECC Customizing

Symptom

  • The issue arises when there is a need to maintain the exchange rates in SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) for a new company code.
  • The exchange rates are maintained in Customizing path SPRO>SAP NetWeaver>General Settings>Currencies>Enter Exchange Rates on the SAP ECC/S/4HANA source system.
  • The challenge is to have this configuration updated in SAP CAR whenever the configuration is updated in SAP ECC/S/4HANA source system to keep them in sync.
