3518981 - Creating Performance Goal from Library Jumps from Step 2 to Step 3 When Editing a Goal (Google Chrome)

Symptom

When creating a performance goal from a library and moving to step 3: Create, if you go back to step 2: Edit Goals to make changes, scrolling down the page will automatically skip the Next button and move to step 3: Create.

This issue only occurs when using Google Chrome.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into SuccessFactors with Google Chrome
  2. Navigate to Admin Center > Goals
  3. Select the Performance Goal tab
  4. Select a goal plan
  5. Select Create Goal
  6. Select Create from Library
  7. Select a goal > Next
  8. If applicable, select the pencil icon to make modifications to a goal
  9. Select Next > Next
  10. Select step 2: Edit Goals
  11. Select pencil to edit the goal
  12. Scroll down and the page jumps to step 3: Create

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2025 release (b2505).

Workaround

Use a different browser like Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox.
