Symptom
After upgrading to S/4HANA, HCM Process and Forms Fiori forms fail to execute. Users may experience one or more of the following symptoms
- SLG1 Errors: Error logs in SLG1 may show "Case does not exist" or "Error updating the process object," referencing CL_POBJ_CASE.
- 500 Internal Server Error in Employee Search (F6117): Users encounter a "500 Internal Server Error" when clicking on the personnel number within the Fiori app Employee Search (F6117).
- Event Binding Issues: Event parameters under _EVT_OBJECT are missing during event-to-workflow binding, leading to process failures.
- Missing Entries in T5ASRPROCESSES Table: The table T5ASRPROCESSES does not contain any entries, which may lead to workflow and form execution issues.
- Users experience ST22 dumps when trying to initiate processes that depend on case management.
- Error details in the dump may include:
- Error: Exception raised: cx_swf_utl_obj_exec_failed
- Class: CL_HRASR00_WF_PROCESS_OBJECT
- Method: GET_APPLICATION_OF_PROCESS
