3519418 - Custom Tokens not populating for Effective-Dated Entities in Onboarding Emails - Onboarding

Custom tokens in email templates for Onboarding do not populate correctly for external users (new hires). Specifically, tokens that reference effective-dated entities, such as Job Information (JobInfo) and Personal Information (PersonalInfo), return blank values when the email is triggered by a custom MDF object. However, tokens linked to non-effective dated entities, such as Employment Details, populate successfully.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

This issue occurs due to a product limitation. The system is unable to fetch future-dated records for effective-dated entities (e.g., JobInfo, PersonalInfo) when triggered from a custom MDF object. The tokens are resolved using the system's current date ("Today") as the effective start date, and future-dated records are therefore unavailable for population.

At present, there is no direct solution to retrieve future-dated records for effective-dated entities.
