3519554 - Issue with SAPUI5 Composite Type Not Clearing Error State on Binding

Symptom

  • An issue is encountered when using a subclass of sap.ui.model to make a composite binding two way.
  • When 'abc' is entered in the composite binding input, the 'Enter a valid currency amount error' is displayed.
  • Upon pressing reset changes, the value state remains and value is not reset.
  • When '123' is entered, the underlying Decimal throws an 'Enter a number' error which will be reset.
