3519993 - Opportunity in Kanban View Shows Internal Status

Symptom

You noticed that Opportunity in Kanban view shows Internal Status

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
  • SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Navigation menu.
  2. Go to Guided Selling view.
  3. Open in Kanban view.
  4. The Status seen in the Opportunity Card is not the Custom Status.

Cause

The Status seen is the Internal Status of the respective Custom Status. Same is the behavior, when the opportunity is opened as well.

Resolution

To display the Custom Status instead of the Internal Status, follow these steps:

  1. Go to User menu.
  2. Navigate to Settings > All Settings.
  3. Search for Opportunities and select General Settings.
  4. In the Opportunity Status Display section, change the setting from Internal Status to Custom Status.
