3520069 - Application server rolling restart results in error messages on a running App Server

Symptom

  • You have a Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) system with multiple Instances or Application Servers.
  • During the process of taking a rolling restart, you take down App Server with ID: 12345, for example. 
  • In the Message Monitor, an error is observed which appears that it occurred in a different App Server e.g. with ID: 12344. 
  • It appears that the rolling restart has resulted in an error on an App Server which is up and running. 
  • The error is similar to below: 
    Mapping "<interface details>" failed to execute: MappingException: Unable to retrieve MappingInterfaceLocalHome from JNDI while invoking the mapping, javax.naming.NamingException: Exception during lookup operation of object with name localejbs/MappingBean, cannot resolve object reference. [Root exception is javax.naming.NamingException: Error occurs while the EJB Object Factory trying to resolve JNDI reference Reference Class Name:
