3520203 - Missing credit master data causing no credit check or credit value update (FSCM)

Symptom

  • The credit control area (VBAK/LIKP-KKBER), credit account (VBAK/LIKP-KNKLI) and risk category (VBAK/LIKP-CTLPC) is not filled in sales orders or deliveries, which should be relevant for SAP Credit Management (FSCM). 
  • After sales order or delivery is created, there is no credit check performed according to setting in OVA8.
  • The corresponding open sales/delivery value is not updated in BP credit exposure.
  • When checking this sales document via report CHECK_CM, it can be found that Credit Control Area (KKBER), Risk Category (CTLPC) and Credit Account (KNKLI) have no value.
