3520374 - SAP Business ByDesign 2408 Hotfix Collection 2 Information

Following is the list of fixes* delivered with the Hotfix collection 2 performed in 2408 release of SAP Business ByDesign.

The Hotfix collection is planned to be deployed to tenants during the respective planned maintenance window on/after the 21st of September 2024. Please check the planned maintenance downtime window of your tenant from the Service Control Centre.

ByD HTML5 Client (not for Cloud for Customer)

• This issue with the incorrect display of the Edit Time Sheet has been fixed. (Hotfix ID: 4500023029)

• The display issue with input help calendar for DATE type issue has been fixed. (Hotfix ID: 1000029109)

Document Service Reuse UI's

• Users can now edit uploaded file's comments, title, and type. They can do this even after attaching the same file twice. (Hotfix ID: 1000031211)

Customer Relationship Management

 Currency Conversion & Exchange Rates

• For Zimbabwe, we have introduced a new Currency ‘Zimbabwe Gold’ ZWG and renamed the existing currency ‘Third Zimbabwe Dollar’ ZWL to ‘Old Third Zimbabwe Dollar (replaced by Zimbabwe Gold. (Hotfix ID: 4500020937) 

Service Order Processing

• In the Service Order business object, the field Approval status code is now read-released in the Public Solution Model (PSM).  (Hotfix ID: 4500025275)

Customer Quote

• In the Customer Quote business object, under the Pricing Terms associated node, the field Price_Date_Time and Content is now write enabled for the Public Solution Model (PSM). (Hotfix ID:  4500022719)

Cross-Country Extensions

• The customer can now generate invoices from the DCM (Document Compliance Monitor) without any runtime error. (Hotfix ID: 1000026038) 

Financial Management

Cash and Liquid Management

• The system now automatically calculates cash discount in inbound file or web service bank advice scenarios if the cash discount is not passed.   (Hotfix ID: 1000030912) 

Payment Processing

• When the payload or file includes fields like cash discount, difference amount, and withholding tax amount, the system does not apply the clearing technique. (Hotfix ID: 1000028275) 

GLO - Tax Declaration

• For Suriname, a new Tax Number Type 'TIN - Tax Identification Number' has been delivered. (Hotfix ID: 1000031543) 

Human Resources 

Resource Pool Management

• The daily job run was causing errors by deleting day nodes older than 90 days for terminated employees. This issue is now fixed.   (Hotfix ID: 4500024206) 

Personnel Administration

• When you add bank details for employees through the "ManageEmployeeIn2" web service, the system automatically sets the validity start date as the current system date. This action occurs instead of using the validity start date from the bank details master data maintained in the system. This issue is now fixed. (Hotfix ID: 4500022967) 

Time and Labour Management

• Previously, if an employee recorded their time by selecting a category other than "time allocation", the system erroneously allowed it. This issue is now fixed. (Hotfix ID: 4500025543) 

• The Created Today filter option was not working for the Customer Adjustment for Time Accounts worklist under the Time Administration Regular Task work center view. This issue is now fixed. (Hotfix ID: 4500026591)

Supply Chain Management

Site Logistics Task

• When a numeric serial number in the second task was sent through the inbound interface, it used to result in error. This issue is now fixed. (Hotfix ID: 1000031342) 

• The inventory aging report for pre-delivered stock now excludes reversals. This update applies to both pre-delivered outbound delivery goods and customs receipts. (Hotfix ID: 1000029386) 

• The external reference is now provided in the 3PL request from the consignment fill up. (Hotfix ID: 4500025415) 

Material Inspection

• The change log now correctly adjusts the "Decided On" attribute of the Inspection ID for customers in time zones outside UTC. (Hotfix ID: 1000029274) 

Production Order

• The extension field in the production order is currently not flowing to the production task. This issue is now fixed. (Hotfix ID: 1000029655) 

Released Planning Production Model

• In the RPPM_REL_PLAN_PROD_MODEL Business Object, the action MODIFY_SOURCE_OF_SUPPLY is modified in the Public Solution Model (PSM). (Hotfix ID: 1000031831) 

Supply Relationship Management

Supplier Invoice

• The issue that caused supplier invoice and bank transfer information messages to be incorrectly mapped has been resolved. This mapping error previously converted error messages into information messages. The system now uses the correct mapping.   (Hotfix ID: 1000031810) 

Purchase Requests and Orders

• Previously, the supplier's name appeared in Cyrillic on the customer's user interface. You could see this when viewing Purchase Requests and Orders in the Open Task section. This issue is now fixed.  (Hotfix ID: 1000028459) 

Supplier Invoicing

• Previously, when customers switched their selection from one item to another in the supplier invoice, the document flow of the new selected item displayed the data of the previously selected item. This issue is now fixed and the document flow of an item updates correctly with the data of the selected line item. (Hotfix ID: 1000029488) 

AP SRM Foundation

• Users may have noticed supplier names appearing in various languages on the supplier invoicing lists. This issue has been fixed. The new field is hidden by default. However, users can make it visible in personalization mode. (Hotfix ID: 4500026411) 

Supplier Relationship Management Globalization

• The purchase order approval process had missing text for approval steps. We have updated the relevant table with the necessary text elements. (Hotfix ID: 1000030882)
