3520501 - Not possible to inactivate a custom MDF object

Symptom

  • Not possible to inactivate a custom MDF object
  • Error is displayed when trying to inactivate a custom MDF object

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Configure Object Definitions
  2. Select the custom object you would like to inactivate
  3. Click on Take Action > Make Correction
  4. On the Status field choose Inactive
  5. Click on Save and error message is displayed

Cause

Custom MDF objects cannot be marked as Inactive.

Resolution

If you do not want to use the custom MDF object you will need to delete it.
