3520610 - Change Collector by User Not Displaying Changes

Symptom

The Change Collector by User feature is not displaying any changes, regardless of the user input.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Application and User Management Work Center.
  2. Access the Change Collector Work Center View.
  3. Select the line Change Collector ID.
  4. Scroll down and click on Execution.
  5. Click on Execution ID .
  6. Navigate to the Changes tab.
  7. Observe that no records are found.

Cause

There could be multiple causes for the issue.

  • The issue arises when no changes have been made by the specified user within the given time frame. This is why no changes are appearing in the Changes TAB.
  • The Document type should be used based on the requirement.

Resolution

  1. Verify the user for which the details are being fetched for the Changes Report.
  2. Ensure the correct Document type is being used. Anything related to Business user use - User document type, any changes in supplier tab choose Supplier document type
  3. Check if any changes have been made by the specified user within the given time frame use BT in Interval Definition.
