Symptom

  • The replica of a production system is created, with all mount points synced.
  • An issue arises related to memory, with the error message "ORA-27104: system-defined limits for shared memory was misconfigured."
  • The system is unable to start due to this issue.

    Alert log:

    System cannot support SGA size of 300 GB.

    Total system memory configured is 63 GB.
    2024-08-20T16:59:48.100594+05:30
    Instance maximum shared memory size should be less than 56 GB.
