3520995 - Special characters are missing after exporting a Web intelligence document to PDF

Symptom

  • Some special characters are missing after exporting a Webi report to PDF while showing normally inside of the WEBI interface using Arial font with Linux server.
  • The special characters are displayed correctly in the Webi report.
  • No issue exporting the report to excel or TXT.
  • No issue in exporting to PDF when server is Windows or in rich client.
  • The report is exporting data correctly in BI 4.2 with Linux server and Arial font.
