Symptom

  • While performing an upgrade of an ABAP system using the Software Update Manager (SUM),
    an error occurs at phase  PREP_EXTENSION/UNINSTALL_PACKAGES_CHECK:

Error during check/update of uninstallation packages. Return Code = -99, Reason =
"The object list contains objects, which belong to customer namespaces", check log file
'SPDA_UNINSTPACKCHK.LOG' for details.

Name: SPDA_UNINSTPACKCHK.LOG
A3EETN_PROCESS 237 The object "R3TR" "DEVC" "/xxx/yyyy" belongs to the customer namespace "/xxx/"
A2EETN_PROCESS 236 The object list contains objects, which belong to customer namespaces
