3521584 - Lead Conversion screen does not contain an anchor

Symptom

It is needed to add an embedded component to standard screen COD_Mkt_Prospect_Conver2AccountQC.uicomponent (Lead conversion screen). However it does not have an outport to use to bind parameters. The following error is faced:

"The outport you've choosen, does not contain a stable anchor. Please select a different."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales > Leads.
  2. Open Lead the desired Lead.
  3. Click Actions > Convert to Account and Contact.
  4. The quick create screen that opens is the one desired to bind the EC.

Cause

Not all screens will have outports published, including the Lead conversion screen. 

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.
