3521803 - Changing V1 message type from warning to error in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Unable to convert a warning message to an error message with message type "V1-messages".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

  • The message type "V1-messages" cannot be changed via the configuration activity "Define Variable Messages (ID: 105601)".
  • To address the need to convert a warning message to an error message with message V1499, submit this requirement as a feature request through the Customer Influence Portal under the session SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Sales.
