3522849 - Handling unit status is not updated after posting goods receipt

• Handling unit has status 0040 (stock in transit) however goods receipt posted for the STO
• Handling unit status is not updated after posting goods receipt via APP "Post Goods Movement"

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a stock transfer order
2. Create outbound delivery from the stock transfer order and assign handling units to the delivery
3. Post goods issue (HU moved to 'stock in transit')
4. Post goods receipt in APP "Post Goods Movement" for the STO
5. Check HU status

If HUs have been issued in the outbound delivery, a corresponding inbound delivery should be generated to update the status of the HU.

HU status will not be changed by APP "Post Goods Movement". APP "Post Goods Movement" will only update the stock status in IM level and it cannot affect the HU level. Therefore, the HUs are still in transit with status 0040.

To update the HU's status, reverse the goods receipt movement generated by APP "Post Goods Movement" first.

Then, create an inbound delivery in APP "Create Inbound Delivery" where the relevant HUs can be added and the goods receipt can be posted.

To do this, the confirmation control key in the material document is necessary.
