3522945 - In APP VL10* all the items are delivered not only the selected ones - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

In the APP VL10*, certain items were selected for delivery, but not all of them. Despite this selection, the entire document ended up being delivered. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. open APP VL10*
  2. add the preceding document (Purchase order, Sales order)
  3. execute
  4. on the next screen select some items for the documents (not all of them)
  5. execute in dialog mode

Cause

The selected items flag is not set and the dialog mode is used (which calls the APP Create Outbound Delivery - With Order Reference where only the entire document can be delivered) to create the delivery via VL10*.

Resolution

The SSCUI 105615 - Maintain Parameters for Creating Deliveries should be used to set the selected items flag for the assigned user role in VL10*. Utilizing this setting ensures that only the specifically selected items are processed for delivery.

Additionally, use the background option to create the delivery in VL10*.
