3523268 - Inconsistency in Employee Master Data Fields Visibility in ByD System

• Biographical Data tab in Employee File does not show the same amount of standard fields and tabs for every employee.
• Certain standard fields or tabs are not available for some employees, even when they are assigned to the same org unit.
• Standard Fields or tabs are also not available for selection via Personalisation and Key User Adaption mode.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Personnel Administration work center
2. Select Employees view 
3. Edit an Employee
4. Navigate to Personal Data > Biographical Data.
5. Observe that certain fields or tabs are visible.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for another Employee
7. Observe that certain fields or tabs are not visible.

The availability of standard fields and tabs is country specific. The employees may have different County/Region assignments. These assignments are visible in the Employees view (as far as not deselected via Personalisation/Key User Adaption Mode).

Check the Hire Employee option to find the relevant fields and tabs for each Country.

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center.
2. Select Regular Tasks view.
3. Select the country. 
4. Select Hire Employee.
5. Check the available fields and tabs.
