3523775 - Duplicate Child Node Appears in Account Hierarchy Report

• A custom report is created with the Parent Account characteristic sourced from Account Master Data [CODCUSTOMER] data source.
  
• The field is configured to display a hierarchy
• "Fixed Hierarchy (Value – Account Hierarchy)".
  
• The Parent Account field appears as a hierarchy in the report, but a child node is duplicated.
  
  

SAP Cloud for Customer 

1. Navigate to the Business Analytics work center.
   
2. Select the Design Reports view.
   
3. Search for the custom report “ABC”.
   
4. Open the report and run it to view the data.
   
5. Expand the Parent Account hierarchy to observe the duplicated last child node.
   
   

• The duplication of the leaf node is a standard behavior in C4C Analytics.
• The final leaf (preceded by a circle/dot icon) represents the actual data point for filtering and analytical functions.
• The duplicated text above it (preceded by an arrow icon) is necessary for aggregation. 
  
  

1. This behavior is standard for hierarchies in Cloud for Customers Analytics and has been consistent since its inception.
