Symptom

The Projects - Line Items report is not showing all released projects.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Cost and Revenue Work Center .
  2. Open  Reports > List view.
  3. Search for the "Projects - Line Items" report and open it.
  4. Under the selection area, click the value help icon on the Project field.
  5. The system does not show all projects.

Cause

Report: Projects - Line Items only displays projects with accounting-relevant postings, such as Distributions, Service Cost Allocations, Time or Expense Recordings, Supplier Invoices, Overheads, and Revenues.

Resolution

It is the system design for the report to not show Projects in which accounting postings do not exist.
