3524528 - Unable to Change the Currency in Purchasing Contract

Symptom

You have created and released the purchasing contract however you are unable to change the currency for the contract. 

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center
  2. Go to Contracts view
  3. Select the relevant Purchasing Contract
  4. Select Edit and you want to change the currency here

Cause

Purchasing contract is already released and for released contracts it is not possible to change the currency. 

Resolution

Since there are no follow up documents created with reference to this contract, you can close the contract and recreate a new contract with the correct currency.
