3524843 - Filter "Does not Contain" does not work when acquiring data from Hana and Google BigQuery in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

When creating an import job from either Hana or Google BQ (BigQuery), certain types of filters will not work and cause the error "Plugin service failed in executing job" to be thrown.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2024.1

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new import job from either Hana or Google BQ
  2. Attempt to use the filter "Does not contains", or "Contains"
  3. Get the error "Plugin service failed in executing job

Cause

The filter "Does not contain" will not work with either Hana or Google BQ type import connections.  The filter "Contains" will work, but the filter value must be in SQL syntax.

e.g. 
To filter in all things that contain "xyz", you must enter "%xyz%"

Resolution

The Does not contain filter does not work currently.  Development is aware of the issue and are investigating the issue.
