3525040 - Project Stock Order cannot create a Goods and Activity Confirmation After Consumption

• Project Stock Order cannot create a Goods and Activity Confirmation.
• The consumption of material is not updated in the Project stock order as expected.

Business ByDesign

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the relevant Project Stock Order, select it and choose the action.
4. Navigate to the Document Flow tab.
5. Observe the Process communication error in the project stock order business document.
6. Select the error icon to see the message "Project Stock Order ABC cannot create a Goods and Activity Confirmation"

• The accounting period for the posting date to which the consumption needs to be posted is blocked in accounting.
• These unposted documents can be identified in the Source Documents view under the General Ledger work center.

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Select the Companies view.
3. Select the relevant company ID and choose Open and Close Period button.
4. Search for the accounting period relevant for date XX.YY.ZZZZ. Here you can see that the Period Status of this period is Blocked.
5. Now select the period and choose Open Periods button.
6. Finally choose Save button.

• If you do not want to open the accounting period, please follow steps mentioned in the KBA : 1648199 - How to Post Reverse Warehouse Confirmation Without Opening the Relevant Accounting Period.
• Now you will be able post the Goods And Activity Confirmation. Once the Goods and activity confirmation posting has been triggered by your side check if the error has been resolved.
• If the issue is not resolved, send the case back to SAP to restart the communication manually. Restarting the communication manually without opening the blocked periods will not be successful.
