3525122 - Discrepancy in Profit Margin Calculation Between Sales Order Header and Item Level

Symptom

  • The profit margin is calculated differently between item level and header level in sales orders.
  • The discrepancy in calculation persists despite no difference specified in the pricing procedure between header and item pricing.
  • There are more than 1 condition in pricing procedure as Condition Class = 'B' making use of Subtotal = 'B'. For example: VPRS and EK02.
  • The formula set to Profit Margin value in Pricing Procedure is formula 11 ( Profit Margin = Net Value in Document Currency - Cost in document currency ).
