3525423 - Error "Email Attachments Cannot be Deleted" When Trying to Delete a Case Attachment

It's not possible to delete an attachment which is added to a case by e-mail, once it appears the error message "Email attachments cannot be deleted".

1. Navigate to Cases work center.
2. Open Case where the attachment is located.
3. Navigate to General tab.
4. Scroll down until Attachments tab.
5. Click to delete the attachment.
6. An error appears with the message: "Email attachments cannot be deleted".

The deletion of email attachments is not allowed, this is why the error message appears.

• This issue can be resolved using the Data Import and Export tool to delete the email and its associated attachments.
