Symptom
- An incorrect deduction in the time account for the time type is observed for a specific employee.
- No corresponding time off request can be found for the employee for this period.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to 'Administer Time' for the transaction.
- Enter the specific employee ID.
- Check the absence records for the period deducted. The absence for this period will not be found.
- Navigate to the time account.
- Future postings will be observed as deductions for the leave that does not exist.
Cause
- Navigate to the particular Time Account in Manage Data
- Manually check details of 'Employee Time' to find one of the postings in the month which was deducted.
- There is no information in Time Calendar Entry field
- There is no information in Employee Time Field
- This happens if customer has deleted the 'Employee Time', but the reference(or posting type) still exists in the related Time Account.
Resolution
There is a Check Tool called 'Time Account Details of Type "Employee Time" Have Employee Time References (TimeAccountDetailWithoutEmployeeTimeReference)'.
It'll necessary to delete the Time Account Detail. Afterwards please create a Time Management Recalculation Event for this user and the posting date of the Time Account Detail.
