3525515 - Not Able to Open Pro Forma Invoices on Sales and Service Quotes

When clicking on the Pro Forma Invoice button on a Sales or Service Quote, the following warning message appears:

"You are not able to open this link due to a missing work center view assignment".

It is not possible to access the Pro forma Invoice option.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the New Business workcenter.
2. Go to the Sales Quotes view or Service Quotes view.
3. Select the quote XYZ (XYZ represents the Quote ID).
4. Click on the Pro Forma Invoice button.

The warning message "You are not able to open this link due to a missing work center view assignment" is displayed and you cannot open it.

The current business user does not have the access rights for any of the workcenters responsible for the Pro Forma Invoice on quotes.

Some of the workcenters that provide access to the Pro Forma Invoice are: Over-The-Counter Sales, Sales Order, Outbound Logistics and Third-Party Logistics.

1. Navigate to the Application and User Management.
2. Go to the Business Users view.
3. Search for the ID ABC (ABC represents the User ID).
4. Click on Edit -> Access Rights.
5. Go to the Work Center and View Assignment tab.
6. Click on Find.
7. Search for any of the workcenters responsible for the Pro Forma Invoice (for example, Sales Orders).
8. Select the Work Center ID CRM_WOC_SALESORDERS and click Locate.
9. On the Available Work Centers and Views section, select the Work Center / View ID "CRM_WOC_SALESORDERS".
10. Mark the checkbox to Assign it to the user.
11. Click on Save.

Now the workcenter is assigned and the current business user is able to access Pro Forma Invoices on Sales and Service Quotes.
