3526073 - Incorrect Dunning Template Being Selected for the Dunning Letters

When performing a Dunning Run, the Dunning Template is being incorrect chosen for the Dunning Letters generated, even with the rules for the Dunning Letters in the Form Template Selection View being correctly maintained.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Receivables Work Center.
2. Go to Dunning Runs View.
3. Select the Run ABC (where ABC refers to the Run ID).
4. Click on Schedule.
5. Select Start Immediately, under Schedule section.
6. Click on Save and Close.

The Dunnings Letters will be created.

1. Go to Dunning View.
2. In the Dropdown, select All Dunnings Proposals.
3. Click on Advanced Filter.
4. In the Run ID field, insert ABC.
5. Click on Go.
6. Select the Dunning XYZ (where XYZ refers to the Dunning ID).
7. Click on Edit.
8. Click on Preview.
9. Click Send Options.

The template for the Dunning Letter selected is different from the one maintained in the Form Template Selection View for Dunning Letters.

The system is selecting the dunning template due to the rule maintained in the output of the account for the "Dunning Outbound".

This is the expected system behavior. The account output rules are validated and selected before the rules maintained in the Form Template Selection View.

To apply the rules maintained in the Form Template Selection View for the Dunning Letters, it is required to remove the Dunning Outbound output rule from the account.

To remove the rule of the account, perform the below steps:

1. Go to Dunning View.
2. In the Dropdown select All Dunnings Proposals.
3. Click on Advance Filter.
4. In the Run ID field, insert ABC.
5. Select the Dunning XYZ.
6. Click on Account Name "YYY", under "Customer Name" (where YYY refers to the Account Name).
7. Click on View All.
8. Click on Communication tab.
9. Click on Collaboration sub-tab.
10. Under Business Document Settings, select Dunning Outbound.
11. Scroll down to the Output Channel Settings section.
12. An output channel is selected, and a template defined for the Dunning Letters in the account.
13. Remove the template maintained in the output channels.

The rules maintained in the Form Template Selection View for the Dunning Letters will be applied correctly.
