3526613 - Onboarding Initiation Status and Display Column in the Redesigned Applicant Management - Recruiting Management

As part of the 2H 2024 release, we have now the Onboarding Initiation Status portlet and column are now available in the redesigned Applicant Management.

Onboarding Initiation Status:

​In the Redesigned Applicant Management Tool, after initiating the Onboarding via Take Action > Initiate Onboarding, Recruiting Users now can track what’s the Onboarding Status of the applicant and can take corrective measures  and complete the process if something is needed from their end. Before the Onboarding status was only showing Successful and Recruiting Users were not able to identify the actual stage from the Candidate.

Enablement: If this field was already setup on the Customer’s Job Requisition Template when using the Legacy Workbench, no additional configuration is required when switching to the Redesigned Applicant Management. Otherwise, the Customer should enable the “onboarding” feature-permission on the Job Requisition Template. For more information, refer to the Implementation Guide - Permission Settings for Onboarding Portlet and Initiate Onboarding.

The statuses available are:

• Success 
• Failed
• Cancelled
• Success (reinitiated)
• Workflow Canceled
• Workflow Pending
• Workflow Returned
• Workflow Completed

NOTES: 

• The workflow statuses are meant only for Internal Hire process. If the applicant is an external hire, only Success, Failed, Cancelled and Success (reinitiated). For more information on the Internal Hire process, please refer to the  Implementation Guide - Enhancements to Internal Hire Process.
• The Onboarding Status being referred here is the Initiation Status for the onboarding process triggered by Recruiting. A 'Success' status does not mean that the applicant has been completely processed by Onboarding at that point.

Onboarding Initiation Status column:

Onboarding Initiation Status is available in the Redesigned Applicant Management for applicants in a Job Requisition and now you can choose to include Onboarding Initiation Status as a column to display and filter.

The Onboarding Initiation Status column only indicates if the Onboarding request was successfully submitted or not. It does not indicate the status of the onboarding workflow. Onboarding Initiation statuses on the column can have the following values:

• Success
• Failed
• Cancelled
• Success (reinitiated)
