Symptom

  • You are running SAP Business Suite on SAP ASE with High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR).

  • isql is able to connect ASE server but it failed to execute whatever ASE commands or SQL statement getting Msg -1 "java.sql.SQLException: 'xxxx' is not a recognized procedure."

  • The isql connection is established with command as follows:

    isql -UDR_admin -S<hostname>:4909
