3526728 - Cannot load tiles in a Purchasing Analytics Fiori Apps

Symptom

An error is encountered when attempting to access certain SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Procurement Analytics apps

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open one of the apps like 'Purchase Requisition No Touch Rate'/ 'Purchase Requisition Average Approval Time'/ and 'Overdue Purchase Order Items'.
  2. Details are not loaded
  3. Error also can be seen the POP Up
  4. Once such example error is given below

"could not determine valid conversion rate for value(s) 10000 from unit 'AED' to unit 'EUR' on date 2024-07-30 00:00:00.0000000 for client '100'"

Note: Same error may be triggered for one of the below analytics fiori apps:

    • Overdue Purchase Order Items
    • Spend Variance
    • Purchasing Spend
    • Invoice Price
    • Off contract Spend
    • Purchase Order value
    • Contract leakage
    • Purchase Requisition Average Approval Time
    • Purchase Order Average Delivery Time
    • Supplier Evaluation
    • Manage Purchase Contract

Cause

A currency other than the default one for the apps (EUR) is being used.

Resolution

1.Update the currency exchange rate between currencies shown in error in Currency Exchange Rates App.

System will check for all currency conversions between all currencies used in documents with EUR, so ensure to maintain all exchange rates for all currency combinations with EUR.

or

2.In case the exchange rate is not desired to be maintained then change the default currency of the APP to a desired currency for which you have currency conversions maintained for all combination of currencies you have used in the documents in the App 'manage KPIs and reports'.

These steps will avoid the dump when accessing such APPs
