3526885 - Error During Spanish Language Installation in SAP ERP

Symptom

  • An error is encountered during the installation of the Spanish (ES) language in ECC6 EHP6 (SAP_BASIS 731) system.
  • The language is added in I18N system configuration and activated without error.
  • However, when trying to classify the language in transaction SMLT, an error "NLS configuration missing for language ES (SAP Note 42305)" is received.
  • The solutions provided in SAP Note 42305 & 3106425, which include clearing the CCC Cache in transaction I18N and trying to execute Classify Language again in transaction SMLT, were not successful.
