From the 2H 2024 release, Quick card will be replaced by Profile Preview which is displayed as a right-side slide-out panel.

Cause
There's no separate configuration or control of this replacement. The availability of the employee quickcard is now dependent on the version of People Profile that's enabled in the system. When the latest People Profile experience, consisting of Profile Preview and Spotlight, is enabled, the Profile Preview replaces the employee quickcard everywhere except in the legacy Org Chart.
By default, the latest experience is enabled through the setting Admin Center >> Company System and Logo Settings >> Enable the latest People Profile.
