3527212 - Error during SWPM: libclntsh.so.19.1: cannot open shared object file

Symptom

During the installation of ABAP stack on Oracle database using SWPM, the error "libclntsh.so.19.1: cannot open shared object file" is encountered.
Error in sapinst.log:
R3load -testconnect I' exits with error code 12. For details see log file(s) R3load.exe.log.
Error in R3load.exe.log:
A1EEGEN 000 (DBS) dbrc = 20 'shared library could not be loaded'
A1EEGEN 026 Exit code: "12"
