3527574 - Primary and Secondary New Hire Tasks Steps for the Process Variant Manager

Symptom

  • Admin would like to configure E-Signature for New Hire Task.
  • E-Signature for New Hire Task can be assigned either after the Primary New Hire Tasks or after the Secondary New Hire Tasks.
  • There must be at least a custom mandatory task in the tasks before E-Signature

Resolution

Configuration Requirements:

1. To enable this feature, administrators need to create or adjust their custom Onboarding process variant by adding the Primary New Hire Tasks and Secondary New Hire Tasks steps and the E-Signature for New Hire task.




2. You must create or adjust the Assign Forms (OnboardingAssignFormRule) rule to ensure that the forms are assigned based on the step with the attached Document Flow for New Hire Tasks.


• These steps can be added in parallel with (and don't block) the New Hire Data Review, Personal Data Collection, Additional Data Collection, Compliance, and Document Flow (e-Signature) steps.

Limitation: The Secondary New Hire Tasks steps can't be added before the Personal Data Collection step, after the Final Review Step, or after the Primary New Hire Tasks step.
