3528038 - Application Error in Personal Data Collection - Onboarding

Onboardees are receiving error messages once they submit their "Personal Data Collection" step. 

Error message - "An application error occurred. error id: xxx, timestamp: xxx. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring."  

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Log in as a candidate
2. Attempt to submit the "Personal Data Collection" step
3. Encounter the application error

This is happening due to a mismatch in the start dates in the new hire data (for example 08/05 in Provide Personal Data page) compared to the ONB2Process object (for example 08/12 in Manage Data > Process > Search userid).

1. Go to "Manage Data" > "Process"
2. Search the candidate by using process id or user id
3. Find the start date
4. Go to Dashboard to find the candidate
5. Click "Action", then click "New Hire Data"
6. Change the start date to the same as in ONB2Process
7. Save
