Symptom
Typeahead search functionality is available on the Job Requisition Details page for the multi-select Position generic object, Location foundation object, and Job Location generic object.
As part of the Second Half 2024 Release (2H 2024)
The enhancement supports the std_position_obj multiselect, location_obj multiselect, and Job location multiselect objects in the job requisition XML template.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Job Requisition detail page
- select any multi-select Position generic object, Location foundation object, and Job Location generic object
- when you click on Select, you will be able to select multiple values and after selecting multiple values, click on Next.
- Then you will be able to select the Primary value out of the selected values.
- Click Done.
Resolution
The enhancement lets you quickly search for the Position generic object, Location foundation object, and Job location generic object values. It eliminates the need to scroll through a long list of values to find the required values for multiselect fields.
What's Changed:
In the current version, the multiselect drop down for the Position foundation object, Location foundation object, and the JobLocation generic object on the Job Requisition Details page is now replaced with a Select link to search and select multiple options easily.
How It Looks Now
A new field named Primary Value displays the value of the primary field. Use the Change button to update the primary value. The Primary Value field is visible on the job requisition details page only if a multi-select field is configured.
How It Looked Before
In the previous version, typeahead search was unsupported for the multiselect object fields.
It is not required to configure a field for the Primary value in the job requisition XML template.
