3528120 - SAML HTTP SSO Connection to HANA DB Failing After Upgrade in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence

Symptom

  • After upgrading BusinessObjects, issues were encountered with existing OLAP and Relational connections to HANA DB source.
  • The following error can be seen -
    • Connection by Host and Port Failed: The test of the HANA SSO ticket used to log onto the HANA DB has failed due to: Configuration Error [HTTPResponseCode - 401]. (FWM 02133)
  • May also see this error -
    • Failed to get connections for connection [...] using session locale [English]" was displayed when connecting to SAP HANA from Analysis for OLAP
