Warning below happens when creating Combination Column & Line chart in story of SAC:

Your data selection has too many values. Auto Top N has been applied to the chart to display 500 values. To reduce the amount of data in the chart, add some filters or (for applicable chart types) set your own Top N ranking.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 

1. Create a Combination Column & Line chart in SAC system.
2. Select measures for Column and Line, then select dimension A, B, C.
   ==>Notice that warning below displayed for the chart:
   Your data selection has too many values. Auto Top N has been applied to the chart to display 500 values. To reduce the amount of data in the chart, add some filters or (for applicable chart types) set your own Top N ranking.

• This is by design behavior.
• Applying the Top N filter automatically is meant to help you avoid having too many overlapping data points in your charts while giving you enough data to allow you to adjust the filters or the structure of your charts.
• The limit is for the number of data points in the chart, and for the combination column & line chart, it will firstly calculated for the data point of the Column Axis with a multiplier of all the dimensions.

• The Auto Top N feature will trigger at different numbers of records depending on the type of chart.  It can be overridden if you set a manual Top N value larger than the default value. The detailed limit for different chart types , please refer to the table in guide and KBA below:

• Apply filter to reduce the data records less than the limit or apply a manual Top N value larger than the default value (in this case, apply top N >500) can override the limit and display without warning.
