3528229 - Error: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://xxx:443 [Object is closed] when connecting DP Agent to Datasphere - SDI

Symptom

  • Unable to connect the Data Provisioning Agent (DP Agent) to Datasphere Hana Cloud.
  • DP agent shows "DISCONNECTED" status in Datasphere
  • The framework contains the following error.
    • [ERROR]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.makeConnection [] - com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:sap://<Hana Cloud SQL Endpoint>:443 [Object is closed: com.sap.db.jdbc.SecureChannelSession@<Hana Cloud SQL Endpoint>:443 ConnectionID:0 SessionID:0 on sun.nio.ch.WindowsAsynchronousSocketChannelImpl[connected local=/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:<Port> remote=<Hana Cloud SQL Endpoint>/<Hana Cloud IP>:443]: <Local IP>:<Port> -> <Hana Cloud SQL Endpoint>:443 ConnectionID:0 SessionID:0].
    • [ERROR]  DPFramework | JDBCConnector.makeConnection [] - Ensure that the IP address of the agent host is allowlisted in SAP HANA system.
