3528235 - Application Error Occurs When Adding Contingent Assignment for Contingent Worker

An application error is encountered when trying to add a future contingent assignment for a future-hire contingent worker.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log into the instance.
2. Access the employee profile of the sample contingent worker.
3. Attempt to add a future assignment, input the mandatory fields, and click on the Save button.
4. The application error occurs.

The personal information in the old contingent assignment will take effect in a future date.

As a result, when submitting another future contingent assignment, the system cannot find the name information for the contingent worker.

1. Insert a personal information record for the old contingent assignment.
2. Set the effective date to a past time.
3. Input the last name and first name, and save the changes.
4. Add another future contingent assignment. No application errors should occur after these steps.
